Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet

Focus of this project was to set Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet as a place defined by history, proximity and architectural intimacy. Born within a restored neoclassical prison complex in the heart of the Old City, the hotel exists in direct visual and spatial conversation with Istanbul’s most significant landmarks.

The photography focuses on architectural detail, courtyard geometry and elevated terraces overlooking Hagia Sophia and the historic skyline. Rather than isolating the building, my work emphasizes how the hotel sits within its surroundings—where stone walls, tiled roofs and open-air spaces frame daily life in Sultanahmet.

Shot with an architectural photographer’s approach, this body of hotel photography in Istanbul prioritizes context, heritage and atmosphere, presenting a luxury hotel that is experienced through its location as much as its interiors.
